As part of the Investing In Myself series, the family and I have accepted the Whole30 challenge. We are finishing up Day 7 and honestly, it’s been such a learning process.
As part of my goal to Invest in Myself (read more about it here), I have committed to reading more on a regular basis. While my go-to books were almost always fiction, I’m trying to branch out and read more non fiction. Whether it’s self help, health related or biographies, I’ll include a few non fiction titles each month.
If you’re like me, you do the things you think you’re ‘supposed’ to be doing, but things you need to do for yourself fall to the wayside. Whether it’s eating right, exercising, purposefully learning something new, or even getting your hair done- those things just don’t seem as pressing as whatever it is that needs to be done or what is expected to be done.
