Hi again! Happy Tuesday!
It’s dreary and rainy today. Since my sinuses are giving me grief, I took one of those ‘scan your drivers license at the pharmacy’ meth-like cold tablets and have done more by 9am than I usually do in an entire day!
Laundry? Check. Clean house? Check.
Laundry room cabinets cleaned out and organized? CHECK CHECK CHECK.
I swear, you would think meth heads would be more productive!?
Here are my two things this week!
We celebrated my youngest’s 5th birthday (early). Y’ALL. I’m not ready for it.
Not at all.
She is growing up before my eyes and told her grandmother that Chelsea – Barbie’s little cousin/niece? – is “cheeky”.
What does cheeky mean? Apparently Violet knows it’s sassy. Goodness me.
She picked a Trolls themed party
(which started off as Elena of Avalor and almost flipped over the edge to PJ Masks before I stopped the madness)
that we held at the playground in our neighborhood.
Funny story: As parents were arriving, I was showing them the coolers
(beer, water, lemonade, juice boxes) and offered one mom a beer.
“No thanks, I actually brought wine in my Yeti cup”.
Yes girl. Come sit by me and be my friend.
I just love moms.
I swore I wasn’t going to be extra this year but I *did* do a few fun things.
Hoping to get a post together this week to recap and show you guys all the details.
Ten minutes before the party started, the teenager was backing out of the driveway and tore the bumper off her grandparents’ Lexus.
It was hanging on by electrical wires and we were all dumbfounded.
So, teenagers are expensive.
That’s all I have to say about that.
Luckily she was able to pull it together and enjoy the party.
Cars can be repaired, money can be remade, but you only get ONE little sister’s Trolls 5th Birthday party!
Hope you have the best day!
Focus on the good and the good will focus on you.
