SUPER BUSY over here but thought I’d catch up a little bit with two things this week:
Have you been watching the HBO limited series Big Little Lies?! I loved the book by Liane Morarity (HERE) and couldn’t figure out how they were going to fit so much into a 2-3 hour movie. BINGO, mini series. It’s produced by Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman and so far, it’s great. It’s my guilty pleasure even though I already know what’s going to happen 🙂 Not gonna lie, it’s a bit racy but that’s HBO for you. Check it out!
My day job has been crazy busy lately and we spent last week at the National Sales Meeting. To say I ended the week exhausted and bloated is an understatement. Not to mention the dry air in the hotel and my bloodshot eyes every morning. We had the best time and it was so great to catch up with people I only see a few times a year.
One of the Product Specialists (she manages to convince Physicians to do more STD testing y’all- really really a thankless job!) was telling me about a Sephora shopping spree she went on and all the fantastic face masks she bought. In no particular order, these came highly recommended:
GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment – $69
This is for you girls who get the occasional breakout.
This would have been AWESOME after a week of catered food, no sleep and too much wine.
Get in my online cart.
Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask – $40
Ok, first of all, when Ashley started talking about this mask, she said, “You know, the SHISHUUUU whatever you call it mask”.
YES GIRL. I look at that name and think “sheshedo”? “Sheseedo”? Anyway.
It’s apparently everything an overnight mask should be. And look, it won the Allure Best in Beauty Award.
Give it to me.
And last but not least, MY absolute favorite of all time.
I use this mask about 2-3 times per week. When my skin is dull (perfect for this past week!), I use it right after I wash my face.
Leave it on just a few minutes and rinse it off. It tingles a little bit and once you rinse, your skin feels clean and fresh and HAPPY.
Do yourself a solid though, do not pay $56 at Ulta. Go to TJ Maxx and stalk the beauty products and every so often you’ll find a few for $29.
BUY THEM ALL.
Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you have the best week ever. I know I will 🙂
