If you’re like me, you do the things you think you’re ‘supposed’ to be doing, but things you need to do for yourself fall to the wayside. Whether it’s eating right, exercising, purposefully learning something new, or even getting your hair done- those things just don’t seem as pressing as whatever it is that needs to be done or what is expected to be done.

(How I’ve worn my hair for the past 20+ years)
Easy like Saturday morning, when it’s sunny and 55+ degrees in January. Time for my every other month hair appointment. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had the same hairstyle- past my shoulders, long layers, semi banged (but always banging!) medium brown with various shades of highlights. The last few weeks I’ve been itching to try something new. New like a long layered bob. Or a lob, as it is.
